I tried all ways but with no luck and only this trick solved all my headaches at once! )) Now I'm finally able to install SP3 and all updates and of Setup did not complete correctly. External component has thrown an exception (while generating preview of reports). Error. Error occured while initializing fusion. All the response does is direct me to appropriate MS (?) tech group. did delete all the policies related to VC ..

Setup could not load fusion with LoadLibraryShim(). Look in your registry. However after a reboot none of the .net installations were listed by the validation tool or in add/remove programs.
